Why publish a corrections log?

Because a site about legal documents should be accountable for its mistakes in the same way it asks readers to trust its accuracy. A visible corrections log keeps us honest: every factual fix is recorded with a date and a plain description of what changed. An empty log is a good thing, but an accountable one is better than an invisible one.

What counts as a correction here?

Any change to a factual or legal claim: a wrong fee, an out-of-date process, a misquoted requirement, a broken source link that carried a claim, or document wording found to diverge from the intended text. Typos, formatting and clarifications that do not change meaning are fixed without an entry. Fee changes in official schedules are logged when they alter advice a reader might have acted on.

How do I report an error?

Email support@instantdeedpoll.co.uk with the page URL and what looks wrong. The support team checks the report against the relevant source. If the report is confirmed, the fix and its date appear in this log; if it is not confirmed, we reply explaining why the page stands.

What has been corrected so far?

Entries are newest first. Fee-schedule changes that alter advice a reader might have acted on are logged even when we were repeating an older published figure in good faith.
